The Connection Church



	To see the hurt, disillusioned and discouraged people find fulfillment and satisfaction by experiencing Christ's love through the life transforming power of the Holy Spirit. To see the name of Jesus glorified in all we do. To see the greater Northwich area influenced and changed by the gospel of Jesis Christ We desire to be a church based on friendship and family that is purposeful, passionate, prophetic, practical and powerful. The Connection Church, formerly known as Church@Northwich, was planted in 2001. Our mission is to help people mature in their relationship with Jesus Christ and to eqip them for ministry. Everybody wants to be part of a family where people are real, the love that is shared is real and, most importantly, the God that is worshipped is real. As we believe that our faith in Jesus us based on relationship, not religion, we encourage an atmosphere that allows a freedom to be who we are whilst still honouring and revering the living God.

Motive
Our love for God and for people motivates us.
Jesus replied, "'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbour as yourself.' Matthew 22:37-39

Means
God uses radical, Spirit-filled believers to live out and tell others of His ways.
But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will bemy witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.

Meetings
Whenever we meet, we do it to glorify God. Our meetings are to be filled with the life of God.
So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God. 1 Corinthians 10:31

Mission
We will disciple those who believe, without partiality or prejudice.
John 17:6-26

Message
We preach the Kingdom of God. God's kingdom is the total answer to every living being's needs.
I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile. Romans 1:16

Master Foundation
Jesus Christ, the Son of God, is our master foundation. Our lives are built upon Him.
For no-one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ. 1 Corinthians 3:11

Mandate
We will go into the nations of the world and share the great news.
Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age." Matthew 28:18-20

Method
Jesus us our Lord, so we do things His way. We live a life of limitless potential by living in God's ways.
As for God, His way is perfect; the word of the Lord is flawless. He is a shield for all who take refuge in Him. Psalm 18:30

Model
The Word of God is our model. We embrace a whole-Bible lifestyle.
All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for the teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.
